Welcome to Dan in His New Role

Welcome to Dan DeSanto in his new role at the UVM Libraries as the Information Literacy and Subject Liaison Librarian. Dan's liaison responsibilities cover the College of Education and Social Services and he will play an important role as UVM's General Education initiative
continues to unfold.

Dan received his Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Alabama in 2010 and, in 2006, he earned a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Vermont, his BA, also in English Lit is from St. Mike's.

Dan brings library experience from St. Michael 's College, Brownell Public Library in Essex Junction, and from the US Supreme Court Library! Dan has teaching experience as a UVM graduate teaching fellow and as the I&IS staff person responsible for coordinating and teaching much of our instruction for area high school students.
Dan worked in I&IS as a Library Support Senior from 2007-2011 and from 2009-2011, Dan worked in the CDI as Metadata intern and a part-time staff person.

Dan's office is now located in B/H 122C.
