The Staff and Faculty Development Committee invites you to a presentation and informal Q & A with two professors of Economics, one from UVM, the other from Middlebury. The subject is the current economy and how we got here. Stephanie Seguino, UVM Professor of Economics, and Richard Prasch, Middlebury Associate Professor of Economics will offer some perspective on our current economic situation and entertain our questions. So bring them! Like, where is all the money coming from to prop up AIG and other large institutions? Is the Treasury just printing more of it? And more important, where is it going? Or, where were the regulators when we needed them.?
