il because it's sick. We waited so long for the results that we nearly forgot about it. Then, one day, someone walked in the door and said, "I'm here to see the podicarpus." I thought they were talking about the plastic dinosaur for a minute. Anyway, turns out that Mara's tree has a bug and needs a systemic pest control treatment. Does anyone here know an organic, natural and/or safe way to treat tree pests? --Nancy

I would recommend UVM's own Master Gardener people through the UVM Extension dept. Their contact info is on: http://www.uvm.edu/mastergardener/contactindex.html
(they have a hotline and email)
The UVM plant diagnostic clinic might help with "green" methods of control too, especially since you know what the bug is.
